So how exactly did SVT, Swedish national public broadcaster, create a professional broadcast quality graphics and video solution with the combination of free and open source software and cheap hardware ?

That is what you will learn in this presentation by motion graphics designer Jonas Hummelstrand.

SVT now has been using the in-house developed CasparCG software since 2006. It forms an integral part of everything from news shows, channel branding, and game shows to special events, such as election coverage.

Case studies will show how systems such as Pebble Beach, Mosart and iNews have been integrated with CasparCG for state-of-the-art dynamic play-out of both day-to-day and special Outside Broadcast productions.

Biographie

Jonas is a Motion Graphics Designer / VFX Artist at Swedish Broadcasting Corporation (SVT). He is a member of the "CasparCG" development team and has nine years experience with broadcast solutions such as vizRT and Chyron.
