Résumé

Started in 2008, Augeas has soon become an important component of configuration management with Puppet, where it can be used as a sort of scalpel to finely tune configuration parameters without managing the whole file.

The Augeas library also finds its place in Mcollective and can be used to validate configuration files.

This talk will introduce Augeas and demonstrate how it can be used in various facets of configuration management.
